As a follow-up of November Policy Forum, the mission main objectives were to meet with the temporary Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) National Steering Committee represented by IFAD Country Programme Manager, the Association of Ethiopian Microfinance Institutions (AEMFI) and Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA) to present PARM process and develop a road map for its alignment with national investment and policy plans.

The mission also allowed to clarify the potential synergies with PARM and national and international stakeholders. A concrete example is represented by the capacity building plan on Agricultural Risk Management (important component of PARM) that WFP, FAO and PARM (with the support of their Headquarters technical divisions) could jointly develop in the next phases.
