The PARM Secretariat is looking for a Technical Specialist with at least 5 years of relevant international experience in Agricultural Risk Management, Rural Development, Finance, Agri-businesses, Investment in Agricultural sector – among other requirements. The position is based in Rome at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Administrative Assistant – G4

The PARM Secretariat is calling for applications for the position of Administrative Assistant (G4) to provide secretarial, clerical and administrative support to facilitate smooth operations and management of the programme and PARM Secretariat (including INSURED team). Under the overall supervision of the PARM Senior Programme Manager, the Administrative Assistant is accountable for communications, operational and secretarial support services to enhance the smooth running of the team and its workflow and management of information.

Lead Technical Specialist

The PARM Secretariat is looking to hire an experienced professional/expert for the position of Lead Technical Specialist (P5). The person will be managing all the PARM team of staff and consultants. S/He will also be responsible for identifying and dealing with the existing and new potential donors in order to mobilize funds for the smooth implementation of the PARM programme. This position requires a person with demonstrated knowledge and concrete application of ARM methodology through a holistic approach. S/He must also have a proven ability to engage in policy dialogue and discussions involving high-level government officials, donors, and other stakeholders.

Community of Practice Analyst

The PARM Secretariat is calling for application from qualified consultants for the position of Community of Practice (CoP) Analyst to oversee the ongoing evolution of the PARM/FARM-D CoP by supporting continual learning, collaboration and delivering of high quality, relevant and engaging content across global, regional and local networks of ARM-focused practitioners. He/she will play a vital role in supporting the practical working of the CoP, its content, tools, events and logistics. The CoP Analyst will work under the overall coordination of the Knowledge Management Officer and in collaboration with the other colleagues from the PARM Secretariat.

Programme Analyst

The PARM Secretariat is calling for application from qualified consultants for the position of Programme Analyst to support the Secretariat in planning, analysis and monitoring of budget and expenditures. In particular, his/her tasks will broadly include monitoring of expenditures in line with the planned budget, drafting and reviewing activity reports and financial forecasts. He/she will also support the PARM Secretariat in the development and follow-up of the procurement actions. He/She will work hand-in-hand with the IFAD PMI Budget Assistant in delivering the various tasks.
