Where We Work
PARM is currently focusing on 8 Sub-Saharan African countries and is looking to expand its scope within and beyond the region.
So far, PARM process is active in Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Liberia, Niger, Senegal, Uganda and Zambia. Throughout these countries, PARM is engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to assess and prioritise agricultural risk, develop ARM tools, strengthen capacity to manage risk and reinforce partnership for ARM tools investment. The criteria for engaging countries in the process is based on:
- Commitment of the government to Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) and the status of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) implementation
- Diversity in agro-climatic zones, language blocks, and socio-economic standing.
