The collaboration between PARM and the Government of Senegal through the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Equipment and Food Sovereignty (MAERSA) started in 2014 during PARM Horizon 1and was protracted in 2019 for PARM Horizon 2 which led to the development of an investment project design, the Agricultural Risk Management Project for Sustainable Agriculture (PGRAAD).
This report shares the objective of the PGRAAD, which is to contribute to achieving food sovereignty and strengthening the resilience of producers in the face of agricultural risks, through access to information, use of remittances, capacity development and knowledge sharing.
