On 1 June, the Malagasy government has adopted the launch of the PARM process in Madagascar, in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The launch of the process sealed a decisive step for the country to start activities relating to Agricultural Risk Management for improving farmers’ livelihoods. The first phase of PARM intervention will be to evaluate the agricultural risks that Madagascar is facing using a holistic and rigorous methodology with a value chain approach analysis.
