In Q3 2024, the Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM) has launched the design of 3 investment projects supporting the resilience of 8 value chains (maize, rice, rabbit, olive, wheat, poultry, soybean and tomato) in Burundi, Ghana and Tunisia. These projects reflect PARM’s holistic and integrated approach to Agricultural Risk Management (ARM) which simultaneously addresses all key ARM challenges including production and productivity, capacity development of farmer-based organizations and other complementary interventions. Additionally, the pilot project to institutionalize ARM is progressing in Burkina Faso and Madagascar where local organisations have developed ARM curricula and integrated them in their training modules.
